How We Measure It

Here is the Cream online fit guide. For this guide we have created a simplified snapshot of various sizing terms, which differ from Country to Country, and compiled it here for you. The fit guide should be used as a quick reference to help determine your size.
Because the sizing of Vintage clothing can be vastly different from modern day pieces, we have provided detailed measurements of each item to help you determine whether or not the garment will fit correctly.

Each item is also marked with our 'recommended' size. This is an educated guess, based on accurate measurements, but should not be used alone to determine the size.

If in doubt, grab a similar piece of clothing from your wardrobe and measure it according to our guidelines. If the sizes compare then make it yours!

Where We Measure It

All our measurements are taken straight across the garment while it's laid flat.

Bust:

Measured from armpit to armpit.
Pop the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust with arms slightly apart.

Waist:

Measured from smallest part of your waist.
Pop the measuring tape at the smallest part of waist, just above the belly button.

Length:

Measured from collar to hem.

Sleeve:

Measured from collar to cuff.

Chest:

Measured from armpit to armpit.

Crotch:

Measured from crotch seem to waist.

Shoes

Length:

Measured from toe to heel, measured along the sole.

Width:

Measured at the widest part of the shoe, typically at the ball of the foot.

Heel:

Measure from the floor to the top of heel.
